With November around the corner and Christmas (etc.) at its heels, this mature lady’s fancy turns to shopping. And yet, I’m really tired of the crap presents that get exchanged during the holidays! When I passed by In Fiori at 868 Post Street, I felt a glimmer of hope.
The shop is a beautiful, calm, great smelling escape from the city streets. The owner, Julie Elliott, is on site to tell you all about their beauty care products. Most importantly, however, is that the products are amazing. They are made with all natural ingredients and packaged in a protective (and beautiful) red glass to ensure freshness and prolong the shelf life of the products.
So not only do they work, they look gorgeous in your home.
AND, all In Fiori brand products are manufactured locally, in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
As a parfumeur, Julie creates scents (they come in oil and solid forms) that are deep and rich and keep your interest. They are so far above the thin, candy sweet fragrances that you find in the department stores.
A solid perfume compact is a great gift. I always find a gift of perfume extremely exciting. Even if the scent I’m given doesn’t work for me, knowing what fragrance reminds someone of me is endlessly interesting.
In Fiori also carries incense from a company in Kyoto that’s been making incense for over 100 years
and a line of jewelry that I’ve not seen anywhere else. The pieces come from Greece and are made of blackened silver or rose gold. Each one has a hand painted decorative eyeball element to it.
I’ve been hearing about In Fiori for years. Julie has a large and devoted following and I now I know why.
So please, if you get me a holiday gift, consider something from In Fiori.
